Homeowners in Mandarin, FL, know how fast a beautiful pool day can turn frustrating. One afternoon of bugs, debris, and intense Florida sun, and suddenly the backyard feels more like a chore than a retreat.
At Colonial Construction, we build pool screen enclosures in Mandarin, FL that give you back that enjoyment, without the constant cleanup or the uninvited guests. Our team has spent over 25 years working throughout Northeast Florida, and Mandarin is home to some of the best-kept residential properties in the region.
A pool enclosure here is a functional addition, something your neighbors will notice and your family will use year-round.
Professional Swimming Pool Screen Enclosures Design and Build Services in Mandarin, FL
High humidity, seasonal storms, and relentless insect pressure are part of the package at Mandarin. A professionally installed pool screen enclosure handles all of it.
We work with aluminum framing and high-quality screening materials selected to withstand Florida’s specific conditions. The result is a structure that stays functional through heat cycles, afternoon downpours, and years of regular use.
What our Mandarin pool screen enclosure installations typically include:
- Custom sizing and layout to fit your pool shape, deck space, and property lines
- Aluminum frame construction rated for Florida wind and humidity
- Screen mesh options, including standard, pet-resistant, and solar-reducing varieties
- Door placement planned around your deck traffic patterns
- Permit-ready documentation handled through our established process
Our pool enclosures are planned from the ground up around your specific yard. Mandarin properties vary considerably in lot size and layout, so a one-size-fits-all approach has no place in our process. We visit the site, take measurements, and put together a plan that fits the space correctly.
What’s Included in Our Swimming Pool Screen Enclosures Design and Build Services
From the first estimate to the final walkthrough, our team manages the full scope of the project. Mandarin homeowners do not need to coordinate between multiple contractors or chase down permits on their own.
Here is what you get when you work with us:
- On-site consultation where we walk through your pool area and discuss layout, height, and access points
- Design planning tailored to complement your existing patio, landscaping, and home exterior
- Material selection guidance so you can choose the right screen and frame finish for your budget and aesthetic
- Licensed installation completed by our experienced crew, not subcontractors unfamiliar with our standards
- Post-installation review to make sure every panel, door, and seam meets our workmanship guarantee
Many of our Mandarin clients also take this opportunity to upgrade adjacent outdoor areas. A covered patio added alongside a pool enclosure creates a more complete outdoor living setup, and we frequently handle both in a single project visit.
Why Choose Colonial Construction?
Several contractors are operating in the Jacksonville area, but our track record in Mandarin specifically comes from showing up, doing the work right, and staying accountable after the job is done.

- Workmanship guarantee backed by a team that responds when something needs attention after installation
- Value-driven pricing with competitive estimates and financing options available through LightStream
- No-pressure estimates, because we believe the work should speak before anything else does
Our Mandarin clients range from families with young children who want a safer pool environment to longtime homeowners looking to add lasting value before listing a property. We approach every project with the same level of care, regardless of the scope.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to install a pool screen enclosure in Mandarin, FL?
Most standard pool enclosures take one to three days to complete once materials are on-site and permits are in order. Project timelines vary based on enclosure size and site conditions, but our team coordinates scheduling to minimize disruption to your household.
Do pool screen enclosures hold up during Florida’s storm season?
Our enclosures use aluminum framing and screen materials selected to perform under Florida’s seasonal weather conditions. Wind ratings and material grades are discussed during your consultation so you understand exactly what you are getting before installation begins.
Can you add a screen enclosure to an existing pool deck without major construction?
In most cases, yes. Our team assesses the existing deck structure during the site visit and plans the enclosure footings accordingly. Significant deck repairs are rare, and we will walk you through any structural considerations before the project starts.
