Orange Park, FL screen enclosures & outdoor living contractor

Family-friendly Clay County neighborhoods, lakes, and parks—we build outdoor spaces that stay usable through hot summers and sudden showers.

Enjoy your yard, whatever the weather.

Some days in Orange Park, you want to be outside. Other days, the weather has other plans. The sun gets too hot, a sudden shower rolls through, bugs come out just when you settle in. That is where we come in. Colonial Construction builds outdoor spaces that let you enjoy your yard no matter what Florida throws at it—with more than 25 years of experience designing screen enclosures, lanais, and sunrooms that make homes more comfortable and more usable.

Our team focuses on one thing: quality that lasts, work that fits your home, and spaces that work for how you live.

Suburban life with easy access to the city.

Orange Park sits in Clay County, just south of Jacksonville, with a feel all its own. Neighborhoods are family friendly, parks and lakes dot the landscape, and residents enjoy a mix of suburban life with easy access to the city. Families, retirees, and professionals all find something to like.

The area offers plenty to do—golf courses, nature trails, community events that bring neighbors together. But the weather does not always cooperate. Summers get warm, rain falls often, and humidity hangs in the air. People want outdoor spaces where they can entertain, relax, and enjoy fresh air without fighting pests or harsh conditions.

As Orange Park keeps growing, more homeowners look for contractors who understand the local climate and build designs that work with Florida’s conditions.

Backyards, patios, and pool areas you can actually use.

Our screen enclosures are built to handle Florida sun, rain, and wind. They keep insects and debris out while fresh air flows through, so families can enjoy outdoor activities comfortably no matter the season.

Lanais extend your living space outdoors. Shaded areas become spots for dining, entertaining, or quiet relaxation, with an open design that keeps air moving while offering protection from the elements. A well-built lanai blends right in with your home’s architecture—it does not look like an add-on.

Sunrooms bring natural light in while keeping heat, wind, and pests out, making bright, comfortable spaces that work well for reading, working from home, or hosting friends year-round.

Every project starts with a look at your property. We assess the layout, consider sun exposure, and think through how you want to use the space, factoring in durability, function, and visual appeal.

He helped us design our Lenai extension, talked us through all the options, and handled all the HOA and St John's County paperwork for us. The end result looks amazing. Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. When you recently decided to add a screen room to the back of our house. We reached out to several companies, but came back to Colonial Construction/Screen Room. They came out. They provided the quote. They provided all the information on permitting when they could start and can happily say that they followed through on everything the gentleman that installed The screened room was very meticulous taking his time to ensure everything went together correctly. We couldn’t be happier can’t wait to enjoy our new screened in room.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Colonial Construction did an excellent job- removing the wood deck and building a screen room with an insulated Gable roof on a concrete slab. Communication was great. We were informed through the entire process. We are completely satisfied with the end result. We highly recommend this company.
